Please post test scores and feedback here! Here is the format to use.
Score: 50 Length of Study: about half a week Resources used: REA Guide, Offical Clep Study Guide, Peterson’s practice test, Education Portal videos, Wikipedia, and the CP forum Tips: I had just taken the Psychology Clep last week, so the topic was fresh on my mind. I found that there were many application questions for this test. It truly does matter to know the theories and the men behind them. You also need to be able to compare the theories to each other. My particular test was harder than I thought it would be. I had scored a 42% on a Peterson’s practice test before any study. After I studied for a day or two I took the OCSG pt. I got a 67%. I was very happy with this score and too the test 2 days later. When I took the test, I was surprised at how many statistical questions there were. I got a very hard version of this test. This test is passable and I definitely think it is worth taking right after Intro to Psychology. Here are some links that I found helpful. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_deviation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heuristic Know Behaviorism! This is important! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behaviorism Conditioning is VERY important too. You have to know how to apply it to a class. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operant_conditioning |
